Skrill: Declined deposit troubleshooting

Some possible reasons for a declined Skrill deposit include:

  • Your Skrill account was not created successfully and it has no funds available.
  • When uploading funds on your Skrill account you did not select the option 'I will use the money deposited for gaming purposes'.
  • Your card was not accepted by Skrill.
  • The Skrill email address entered is incorrect.
  • The Skrill password and security number entered are incorrect.
  • Your outgoing transaction limit at Skrill has been reached or is insufficient.

If the Skrill web page fails to open while trying to complete your deposit:

  • Check that you have the latest version of your Web Browser installed.
  • Check that your computer is correctly associating HTML files with a web browser:
    1. Open Internet Explorer.
    2. Click on Tools → Internet Options → Programs
    3. Make sure that Tell me if Internet Explorer is not the default web browser is checked.
    4. Restart Internet Explorer.
  • Run a spyware remover, such as Adaware, to make sure you don't have any adware stopping the web page from opening.
