Play Money purchase issues on Mac due to a technical failure

Error: "Due to a technical failure your request could not be processed. Please go back and try again. If the problem persists, contact technical support."

If you receive the error above when trying to buy Play Money chips from your Mac, it is likely your Safari browser is blocking third party cookies

In order to enable cookies and fix the issue, follow the steps below.

Safari 5.1 and later:

  1. Open Safari and in the top left corner of your screen click on 'Safari' and select 'Preferences'.
  2. In the preferences window select the 'Privacy' option and under 'Block cookies' select 'Never'.

Safari 5.0.x and earlier:

  1. Click on the 'Safari' menu in Safari.
  2. Click on the 'Preferences' item in the menu - a new window will open.
  3. Click on the 'Security' icon near the top of the window.
    Under 'Accept Cookies', select 'Always' or 'Only from sites you navigate'.
  4. Save changes by clicking 'OK'.

Your browser should now accept all third party cookies and allow you to complete your purchase.
