Updating your name on a Stars Account

To update your name, please upload a copy of your government-issued ID via the software as follows:

  1. Log into your Stars Account via our software.
  2. Go to Help > Open Contact Support Form.
  3. In the following pop-up screen, select Account Security and Verification and the Upload Documents sub-category.
  4. Browse to the document on your computer and upload it.
  5. Please ensure you specify Change of Name in the subject line and that you include the reason for the name change request in the body of the message.

If your name has changed due to marriage or divorce, please also send us the relevant marriage/divorce certificate or other court records showing your birth name and current name.

If you can’t log into your Stars Account, scan or make a digital photo of the requested documents and send these through the Contact Support Form. A link to the form can be also found in the Help menu of our desktop software or in our mobile app, by selecting Settings & Tools and then Support.
